What Matters Most?

Just what vales do people hold closest to their hearts? Over two weeks last November, the Singapore Pess Holdings' Research, Analysis and Planning Department surveyed 503 people selected to closely resemble the profile of Singapore's resident population.

Respondents were asked to rate 20 values according to how important each was to them. This is what turned up with number 1 as the most important and number 20 as the least important:
